HOODS - Custom designed 3 - piece dutch hoods.

Quality, correct fitting and symmetrical. We offer custom designed, 3 - piece dutch hoods from Merlin sizes through female Gyrfalcon sizes, as well as, most shortwing/broadwing sizes. All hoods are made from the finest calf, Kip, English Kip and cowhides. We use both Kangaroo and Gortex braces.

My hoods, like most, are a conglomeration of many styles, influences and ideas. My craftsmanship and hoodmaking influences are John Moran, Clayton Smith, Doug Pineo, Brian McDonald, Louis Davis, Ron Rollins, as well as several others. After many years of making Indian style hoods for my own hawks, I constructed my first Dutch hood only after expert guidance and encouragement from long time friend and my true falconry mentor, Jeff Farrar of Chico, California.
